This Week in Our Area
This week on Wednesday the Canadian Snow Birds flew over Port Stanley. Then the Aircraft Carrier flew over to gas up the Snowbirds so they could head for their next show at the Shedden Fair. Our poor little dog had a panic attack because of the loud noise.
This Sunday our Central Elgin Volunteer Fire Department in Union held their Annual Fireman's Breakfast Adults are $6 Children $3.
I really enjoy living in a small community our family has got to know people in the neighborhood. The village has a Newsletter and I'm surprised at the programs we have here for P.D. days, Mom and Tots and Seniors activities.
In the city the only people we got to know were family and a few superintendents.

Donate to our Accessible Van Fund
Donate to a Cause That Means A Lot to Our Whole Family
Our family hasn't been able to go anywhere together in 8 years because we don't have accessible transportation.
We are seeking donations or a person/company that could aide us in getting a wheelchair accessible van so our family can spend time doing the normal things like grocery shopping, doctors appointments, and family occasions like births, weddings, and funerals. If you can help it would be appreciated. We found a wheelchair van for under $2000 and if we had donated things to raffle off maybe we could come up with the money.
