Isawu2 has been my online name for years I use to have a site called MS and Life which I would share my experience, strength and hope about living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Since that site changed hands a lot of things have changed for me too.
I'll share with you my challenges with having MS, being married to a wonderful man, having a teenager in the house, an ornery 8yr old cat and 10 month old puppy.
In this past 2 years I've figured out I'm not just another person that struggles with MS, I'm a human being first and the medical team I have had to realize that. I wasn't going to give up my life because they all thought I should be put in a nursing home.
I may not of been healthy but I was still alive and kicking and that meant I'd pick myself up dust myself off with a little help from some good Dr's. and start the fight back to being seen as more than just another patient on their lists.
I had responsibilities that I had to keep to my husband and teenager. A community and organizations I belonged to that I wanted to participate in.
Since I do spent half of my time in bed I surf the Internet for freebies because of having MS I also live on a very limited income so saving money now is a top priority.
