Living Life in Small Town Ontario has it's ups, downs and drama.
I hope you'll join me as I try to share what works and what
doesn't in a family dealing with economic stress,

Teenagers are Crazy
I love my daughter but she can certainly push my buttons.
She wants everything all the time and I'll say money doesn't grow on trees and the smart aleck comes back with "Yes it does Mom paper is made from trees and money made from paper so it does grow on trees.
Then she says all she wants is what all of her friends get from their parents, clothes, money, bus passes, and be able to stay out all night.
Well I talked to her friends and none of them get all of that stuff unless they work for it by doing chores at home or they have a job somewhere.
She says she wants to be a normal teenager. So I told her alright then you have go to school everyday and every class, do your chores and respect your parents.
Well all of a sudden she said that is not fair because we aren't a normal family.
I'm so confused.
